Duncan was the winner of America’s Favorite Player. He was known for making goodbye videos for every houseguest once they were evicted and for making consistent video diaries. After voting in the minority for the first two weeks, Duncan realized he was aligning himself with the outsiders and quickly tried to gain trust from coaches Matthias and Sydney. Duncan was nominated the following week as a pawn by Sarah and luckily his strong social game kept him in the game with only receiving 1 vote to evict. Duncan won Week 4 Head of Household and nominated his biggest threat Sarah and sent her packing. From the rest of pre-jury, Duncan became friends with everyone in the house but stayed close to Andrew and Matthias. It wasn’t until Week 11 when Duncan was nominated by Emily. Luckily Duncan’s closest ally Matthias won the Power of Veto using it to save him. However, during Week 11A Duncan found himself nominated next to Matthias by Julia Rae. When Julia Rae won the Power of Veto and kept the nominations the same, everyone viewed Matthias as the bigger threat and evicted him, keeping Duncan safe. Duncan found himself to be nominated once again by Michael during Week 11B. Once JC won the Power of Veto, Duncan convinced them to use it on him, which led to Duncan being safe yet again. During the Final 5, Duncan was viewed as the least threatening and that helped him get him to the Final 4 with ease. Duncan was initially nominated by Renee during Week 13, but his hard work completing the video dares paid off and he won the Power of Veto. Duncan evicted his biggest threat Emily at final 4, taking himself, JC and Renee to the Final 3. Duncan was hopeful he would make it to the Final 2 when he won the first part of the final Head of Household competition, but sadly he lost Part 3 to Renee. Renee believed taking Duncan to the end would give her the best chances of winning. Duncan lost to Renee by a vote of 6 to 5, being crowned the Runner Up.
