Carson entered the Big Brother Johto house a complete newbie to Big Brother and was immediately pegged as a target because of it. As a member of the Good Team, he kept to himself and was not as active as others in the cast and this made him an easy nominee during the early portion of the game. By winning the Diamond Power of Veto weeks two and four, Carson was able to leave the house guessing as to who he would renominate and ultimately had a large impact on the game by nominating huge threats Bridgette and Mike for eviction respectively and ultimately getting both of them evicted. The late pre-jury phase of the game and early jury portion was a smooth ride for both Carson and his duo Jacob. It was Week 10 when Carson and Jacob were targeted by Connor when everything started to crumble down around them. When the two were final nominees, it was apparent to the rest of the house that Jacob would be evicted over Carson so Matthias and Connor did their best to sway Carson to their side despite just targeting him. With a special live eviction looming, the duo attempted to intimidate and bully Carson into not targeting them. Unfortunately, Carson did not get the opportunity to make that decision as he was nominated for all three weeks of the triple eviction and was finally evicted next to Ruthie as the special live eviction came to a close. At the finale Carson was named America's Favorite Player for the season due to his entertaining video diary room entries as well as his ability to make it through the game with no previous Big Brother experience.
